     At the 2006 LVAR Holiday Party held at the Hotel Bethlehem, members of the Association had the opportunity to participate in the “Champagne & Diamonds” RPAC fundraiser.

     Those who contributed $100 to the REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC) automatically became a “$99 Club” member, which entitles them to having their name printed in the Pennsylvania REALTOR® - the monthly periodical published by the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS®.

     What’s more, members who contributed $100 to RPAC received a glass of champagne with either a cubic zirconia or a .90 carat high quality diamond valued at $4,200. A professional jeweler was on site to test the stones after dinner.

     Excitement was in the air as each contributor lined up to have their diamond tested by the professional jeweler. Dennis Snell of Weichert REALTORS® of Bethlehem, who was one of the first members in line to get his stone tested, was the lucky recipient!

     On behalf of all the members of LVAR, congratulations to Dennis, whose generous contribution to RPAC earned him a .90 carat diamond valued at $4,200.

     Like last year, the event was another big success! The generosity of those 54 LVAR members who contributed to RPAC can take credit for helping raise $7,600 toward our 2007 goal! 2007 is lining up to be the most successful RPAC fundraising year for LVAR!
